If you are thinking about trying out an anti-wrinkle cream for the first time, then you may want to consider Elemis. It s one of those great products that have gained a large amount of publicity recently. Best-selling author and anti-aging expert, Dr. Avi Frister, talk about it on his website and also writes about it on his blog. Here is a review of Elemis, which he describes as an “Au Natural” line:

Now let s talk about what separates this brand from the others. Despite the clinical provenness of their ingredients, Elemis makes some wild claims about their products. For example, one of their products is supposed to treat all forms of acne, psoriasis, aging spots, deep wrinkles, dark circles, crow’s feet, sagging, and sun damage. Yes, they do list it as an ingredient in their best selling Elemis Pro-Collagen gel-cream texture product. I guess they don’t call it anti aging if they weren’t trying to fool people!
The reason that this company isn’t called acne and aging treatment brand is because it lacks one crucial ingredient… collagen. Collagen is a protein, the essential protein for healthy young looking skin. Unfortunately, collagen production decreases naturally as we age, causing wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, etc. In short, an effective product should not only replenish collagen levels, but also make the skin look younger and healthier.
So, I would love to see what kind of miraculous products Elemis manufactures to correct the problems of declining collagen and hyaluronic acid levels. I would also like to know about their botanical ingredients, but unfortunately, they don’t bring any to the table. That is, they don’t use any of the truly effective, natural oils mentioned by the World Health Organization (WHO) in their list of essential oils for skincare products.
Other manufacturers might include grape seed oil, Babassu wax, Maracuja passion fruit extract, avocado oil, Jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, and a variety of other plant-based oils. If you really want to get serious about taking care of your skin, then you need to be purchasing products that contain the above ingredients. These naturally available oils are what are typically found in the best and most effective facial creams, lotions, and emulsions for sensitive skin. And, they are exactly what the leading brands in the market are now including in their Elemis skincare products.
Hopefully, after reading this report, you are now more convinced of why it is that Elemis is not the best brand name in facial creams.
