So, for example, if you have a small scar running down your leg and you use the Bio-Oil each day, in about two weeks the scar will be significantly lighter than before. However, if you use the Bio-Oil only as needed you may be stuck using a moisturizer instead of a cream or lotion that will not only make the scarring worse but will leave your skin very dry.
