Why Organic Food Is Better For Your Health?
Natural and Organic gardening includes plants and animals as well as biodegradable wastes from human activities. In the US, many farmers market all-natural feed mixes that are grown using poultry, cotton, hemp, corn and other bio-degradable materials. The most popular and effective all-natural and organic foods include fish, eggs, honey, apples, lettuce, cucumbers, peppers, squash, spinach and tomatoes. Some of the best products on the market for selling all-natural and organic food include: Bounty, Better Life, Biotherm, Clif Bar, Garden of Life, Hampton Inn by Hilton, Hy-Vee, Kibbles and Bits, Nature’s Variety, Nature’s Source, Organic Valley, Peapodient, Red Robin, Revera, Skyway Farms, Sunbeam, Super Cucumber and more. These companies manufacture different varieties of all-natural and organic food and produce.
A number of companies sell food products that are sold in stores as “natural foods” but are not certified as such. Examples include: Alpo, Bamboo Products, Bluestrips, Blue Diamond, Bon Appetite, Brillion’s Delight, Chobani, Cloud Mountain, Dominus, Evergreen, Ecover, Fair Trade, Field & Range, Frigidaire, Healthworks, Iceberg, Just Hides, Masterfoods, Munchy Lumps, Natures Best, Organic Valley, Peapodient, Pine’s Kitchen, Pure Food and more. Many of these companies do not label their products as “natural foods” because they claim that the items are “fully organic” or “natural and organic” only when they are sold in retail stores. If you want to purchase these products, it is best that you check with the manufacturer to make sure that the products are indeed “natural and organic” and not “fully organic.”
In addition to the above brands, there are also several organic seal brands. The Natural Organic Seal is distributed by the National Organic Standards Board. The Natural Organic seal is a program of the United States Environmental Protection Agency or the USDA. This program ensures that farmers growing crops that have not been exposed to pesticides or chemicals are allowed to use the letters “O” through “G” on their packaging. If an organic product has an “O” through “G” on its label, it must be certified by the USDA.
There are several organic seal programs. They include Certified Natural Organic, Certified Organic Sales, Certified Organic Grower, Certified Organic Retailer, Certified Organic Teas, Certified Organic Wheat and Barley, Certified Organic Herbs and Vegetables, and Certified Organic Fruits and vegetables. Each of these programs inspects the actual crops grown for each of the products. Once the crop is inspected, a seal is given to it. The most common crops that are inspected are soybeans, cotton, alfalfa, lettuce, aloe vera, lettuce, potatoes, cucumbers, squash, spinach, tomatoes, and wheat.
When people choose which all-natural or organic products they buy, what are they really choosing? In many cases, they are choosing which products seem like they would be safer to eat. These might be foods that are grown in fields that have been sprayed with pesticides. They might also be foods that are grown with chemical fertilizers.
Natural and Organic foods are usually safer than non-organic foods. Non-organic foods are grown using chemical pesticides that have been proven to be dangerous to your health. It is best to avoid organically grown foods. In some cases, the all-natural produce could actually be higher in calories. That is why you should read the labels carefully.
The Natural and Organic seal must be displayed prominently on any of the products that it is manufactured for. Each of the Natural Organic seal products will have the letters “OP” embossed on them. On the bottom of the label the words “All Natural and Organic” should be printed. If a product has this seal, it will be lower in cost and have lower levels of contaminants.
You should look for these three indicators when you are buying all-natural or organic foods. If you see any of these, it is a good idea to check the label of the products. If the products have been manufactured by a company that is a member of the National Organic Program, you know that the products are free from toxic chemicals and antibiotics. You can also be sure that the products are grown in soil that is not polluted with toxic chemicals and antibiotics.
